Immediately after their formation in 2010, Sydney 4-piece Age of Menace, posted 2
demo tracks online which generated considerable attention.
What followed was a ground-swell of support, and two sell-out shows.
The band has since been working with producer
Adam Barns at Big Jesus Burger Studios and The Brain Studi...os in Surry Hills. The result is a collection of tracks that
move uniquely between rock and metal. Vocals ranging from intense aggression to heart-felt
melodic, combine with huge, riff-laden guitars, driving bass and virtuosic drums.
The subject material, as signposted by the EP’s artwork which features works
by digital artist Scott Black, explores some dark themes, and is influenced by both
personal experience and world events.
