Enemy Me erupted from the western suburbs of Sydney. The band gigged solidly throughout Sydney during '94-95, always holding their own whether playing to rock, glam, or thrash crowds. When these tracks were uploaded to mp3.com.au some 10 years later, they also made a sizeable impact on those playlist charts. Enemy Me held the No. 1 spot for over 10 weeks in the hard rock / metal category. 4 separate songs hit No. 1 during this period. True testament to the staying power of these tracks, and the song writing abilities of the band.

Gig Review
August 19 1994 Terminus Tavern ACT

Paradox were followed by Enemy Me, from Sydney. They've been together now for 8 about months, and it seems to be working. Being a bit cynical of the  less 'deathy' bands in the metal scene, I was forced to change my mind by the weight and energy this band possessed. Great vocals and guitar work coupled with tight, quick riffing and strong rhythm gave them a very heavy sound, which was well worth hearing. They are definitely worth checking out.

Gig Review :: Drum Media
February 3  1995 Level One NSW

... on to Enemy Me. I'll confess to never having heard them before but their performance tonight means that I'll be seeing them again. The strong bass/drum focus instantly had the crowd moving. The bands lead singer spent a significant mount of performance time with the audience which kept the momentum continually high throughout their set.
