Rachael
Woodlands has been singing for the past 20 years. Her effortless delivery, smooth vocals
and infectious energy has lead to her successful career in music. She has played in a wide
range of bands in various settings. Her experience ranges from singing styles across the
spectrum from Pop, rock, retro right through to the smooth sounds of jazz.
Rachael has sung in cabaret shows on the Fair Princess. She has opened numerous festivals
including the Mackay Festival of 2000, and was a support act to the world renown Supremes.
Words can only give you an idea of how special Rachael’s vocals are. The true
testament is when you hear what she has to offer.
In early 2009, Rachael agreed to collaborate with Derek Turner to complete his song "Helpless Heart". Hear for yourself
how Rach raised lifted this composition to new heights.
The
remainder of 2009 saw Rach
continuing to write & record with Derek on a song by song basis. The guys even decided to
road test their original material with a 1 off performance, which you can view here
