The Sand Dancers is a collaborative effort between some of the Sutherland Shire’s finest musicians and surf lifesavers. The songs are custom built to raise the profiles of the girls of the Rescue and Resuscitation division from North Cronulla.
The Surf Life Saving movement is steeped in rich history and tradition. however this project aims to reposition the girls and their sport, using the language of current pop culture to attract sponsors & new recruits.

We suggest you check out the music videos for these 2 tracks on Quarterpipe’s YouTube channel, which were filmed on location at North Cronulla Beach and showcase this amazing tribe of girls. Unlike Baywatch, these girls are real and dedicated life guards, who volunteer hours of their personal time in order to protect the lives of others. Of course, they also engage in many shenanigans, and boy chasing, as depicted in the film clips.
